Write a prompt for a new image, or add up to 10 reference images and describe the change. Pick 1K, 2K, or 4K.
FLUX 3 Klein is the compact, open-weights image model in Black Forest Labs' FLUX 3 family. Black Forest Labs released it on October 15, 2026 under the name FLUX 3 Image Klein. It has 5.6 billion parameters. One model handles text-to-image, editing, and generation from several references. Here you do not need your own GPU or any setup. Type a prompt and you get a new image. Add a picture first and the same prompt box becomes an edit: you describe what should change.
Each image below came from one try at 1K. The text under each image is the full prompt, unchanged.

Morning street photo of a small corner bakery. Above the window, a painted wooden sign reads "FRESH BREAD" in cream serif letters on dark green. Loaves on wooden shelves behind the glass, soft early light, a bicycle leaning on the wall, shallow depth of field.

Natural-light portrait of a woman in her sixties with short silver hair and a navy linen shirt, standing by a window in a pottery studio. Soft side light, clay dust on her hands, shelves of unglazed bowls blurred behind her, 85mm lens look.

A sunlit home office: a walnut desk by a large window, an open silver laptop, a small potted plant, a notebook with a pencil, empty space on the right side of the desk, warm afternoon light, calm and tidy.
When you add images, FLUX 3 Klein edits instead of starting from scratch. The first image you add is image 1, the second is image 2, and so on. Name them that way in the prompt, say what changes, and say what stays the same.

A plain white mug, made with FLUX 3 Klein from a text prompt. It is image 1 in the color change and image 2 when it is combined with the desk.

Change the mug in image 1 to a matte forest green glaze. Keep the table, the wall, the light, and the camera angle exactly as they are.

Place the white mug from image 2 on the empty right side of the desk in image 1. Match the warm afternoon light and add a soft shadow. Keep everything else in image 1 unchanged. Image 1 here is the desk photo from the examples above. The result kept the 3:2 frame of image 1.
1K costs 1 credit per image. 2K costs 4 credits, and 4K costs 8. Start at 1K while you are still changing the prompt, then move up for the version you keep. Every example above is 1K. Choose a square, wide, or tall frame: 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3, 16:9, 9:16, 21:9, or 9:21. When you edit, Auto is also available, and the result follows the shape of image 1.
Three steps, whether you start from words or from a picture.
Describe the subject, the place, and the light. Put any words that should appear on the image in quotes.
Add up to 10 images in the order you will mention them. Say which part changes and which parts stay as they are.
Choose 1K, 2K, or 4K and a frame shape, then generate. The credits for that size are shown before you start.
FLUX 3 Klein is the model you can use on this site today. FLUX 3 Image is the larger model in the same family. It is not in our generator yet, and its guide covers what Black Forest Labs has published about it. FLUX.2 Pro is the homepage studio, where the generator accepts up to 8 reference images.
